I did find mention of Rex's uncle on page 4717 of the 1988 OWL. It says; "We found that John "Pete" Wing of Montana had come the farthest to be present at the reunion." Apparently there was some confusion about "Pete's" real name which was James Albert Wing.

James Albert Wing was the son of Claude Eden Wing and Eva Lucinda Rockenbach. James was married to Frances Nadine Mason. Sadly, they have both passed. They had 3 children together, Thomas James, John Keith and Patti Kay Wing. His line of descent is from Daniel Wing and Hannah Swift.
