Wing Cousins, Early in the spring I sent a letter by e-mail or postal service to all WFA members in my district introducing myself. I asked to be notified of important events in their families—births, weddings, deaths, etc”. I also encouraged them to attend the WFA reunion in Chattanooga, since it is being held close to our area this year. Hopefully those attending from our district can have a time to meet together. In addition, they were asked to let me know of any Wing family reunions or gatherings. It was good to get responses from several people and to make contact with them. The descendants of John Franklin Elmore Wing will have their annual Southeast Georgia reunion on July 3rd, in Vidalia, Georgia. All Wing descandants are welcome. I’m looking forward to attending my first WFA reunion this year and putting “names and faces” together. Marie S. Binder |
