Cousin Lizabeth (Beth) Wing Fisher with her husband, Stanley at the 107th Wing Family Reunion at Seaside, Oregon
I think that everyone that knows Beth at all will agree that she has long been one of our most important, unsung heroes! Beth has served two terms as Recording Secretary for the WFA. None of us wants to lose her in that capacity but it is too much to ask her to stay on for another term. She has done her job admirably and with great care. Thank you Beth for your long service. You can find a biography of Beth on page 6122 of the 2009 OWL. Beth is # 5 of 9 children born to Harry & June Wing. Beth became a member of the Wing Family of America, Inc about 15 years ago. Attended her first reunion at Sandwich that year and has attended every annual reunion since that time. Beth loves anything to do with music. She plays piano for her church and she also sings in the church choir. She auditioned and was selected to sing in the choir for the mass at Nationals Park in Washington D.C when Pope Benedict the XVI came to the U.S in 2008. See the picture in the OWL! Beth is descended from Daniel, John, John, Daniel, David, William, David, George, Harry Sr. & Harry Jr. Third District is lucky to have Beth as their representative. You can contact Beth at: Lizabeth Wing Fisher 15400 Barnesville Road Boyd, MD 20841 301-972-3406 ljfisher57@verizon.net |
