The following Wing Family Reunions in District Eleven were reported:

The family reunion in Kanab, Utah was held May 26 - 29, 2006, organized by John and Max Jacob. There was good camping out on the land, hiking, target shooting, barbecue and other great meals, talent show games,prizes, contests, races, kiddie pool, fishing and more. All families enjoyed great fun and fellowship.

Colorado holds a family reunion every year either in Olathe, Colorado or in Lakewood, Colorado. The reunion on the first weekend in the month of August, 2006 was organized by Robert Wing.

A picinic-in-the-park family reunion was held in Lehi, Utah for the Wings of Northern Utah. Family history stories were shared, genealogy contests were held with prizes for the winners who knew the most about their ancestors. There was a lot of play equipment in the park for the youngsters and everyone ate plenty of good food. This is an annual event sponsored by the George Hyrum Wing family. Anna Joy Watts was the cousin in charge this year. It was held on the first Saurday in August, 2006.

A questionaire was sent to all WFA members in the eleventh district. The responses received indicated that most of the Wings in Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona are descendants of the "Daniel Wing" line. Those in Utah are from the "John Wing" or "Stephen Wing" lines. We have a great district. come and visit us sometime!
