Charlton H Wing (1843-1915) designed and jig sawed the Lords Prayer between 1865-1875.
A direct descendant of the Reverend John and Deborah Wing, the widow Deborah
Wing left England with four sons and her father in 1632 and came to Boston, Mass.
They settled in Sandwich, Mass in 1637.
Front reads:
Our Father
which are in heaven
Hallowed be they name
Thy kingdom come they will be done
In earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily
Bread
And forgive us our debts
As we forgive our debtors
And lead us not into
Temptation but deliver
Us from evil
For thine is the
Kingdom
And the power and the glory forever
