Claude was born in Bible Grove, Clay Illinois, Zebulon was married to Susan Emily Smith in Bible Grove, Clay Illinois and his marriage record indicates his father was Russell Wing but the mother was unknown. A notation in the family bible states Zebulon was born in New York in 1854. Claude's death certificate states his father was born in Scotland, but no idea how accurate that is.

Hi there. I am from the Nathaniel and Simeon Wing line. I am directly related to the Simeon Wing who moved his family to Wayne, Maine from Sandwich Mass. My uncle is the caretaker of the Wing cemetery in Wayne, Maine as he is the last one in the area who is related to the Wings. I just recently visited the Wing Cemetery near Pocassett lake. Anyone know why they changed it from Wing Pond to Pocassett lake? Thanks
