" Collect data and family history of the descendants of The Reverend John and Deborah Bachiler Wing, or their ancestors. Cement family social ties and fraternal relationships among members.
Please, if this web site has entertained you, taught you something about your background, helped you connect your roots to the Wing family or insprired you to learn more, please consider membership in the Wing Family of America, Inc. (WFA)
The WFA is at a critical time in it's history. We need new members that maintain their membership, that become involved with the WFA. This is a true family organization in every sense of the word. Every member of the board is a volunteer...not one person on the board makes a salary or otherwise profits from the WFA. Actually, it is an honor to serve and that is the only compensation anyone receives is the honor to serve our family and the organization that became official in 1902. It is not expensive and you get more than you give. You get the OWL that comes out yearly, you get two newsletters a year, you have unlimited access to every member of the board and you have your own District Representative who is there to answer any questions you may have. You have the right to claim ownership in the Wing Fort House, the oldest home in north America continuously owned by one family. And finally, you become a part of a larger membership of cousins, cousins who share the same roots, the same heritage and background. We need you.

The History of the OWL
Almost without exception since 1902,
the Association has published a genealogical
magazine containing historical and biographical
information about people of Wing descent. For
over thirty years, as a quarterly under the title
of THE OWL, and since 1936, annually as ANNALS,
this magazine has published the lineage of Wings
through eight generations, and now under the
resumed name THE OWL is recording subsequent generations.
