Eleventh District

Rebecca Gardner, born and raised in New England, drove her pickup truck out West at age 21, visited Moab, UT, fell in love with the landscape, and stayed.  She earned her degree in Geology and Geophysics at the UU, and now works as a GIS Specialist for a land management agency in New Mexico.

 

She has two adult daughters and is looking forward to being a grandmother soon!  

 

Rebecca found her Wing connection while researching her Mayflower lines from Cooke, Warren, and Soule.  She descends from Stephen & Sarah Wing's daughter, Sarah, who married Robert Gifford. 

 

Eventually this Gifford wing produced Carroll Reed, the proprietor of the famous, but now defunct, ski shops bearing his name....some of you may remember.  Grandpa Reed would have thought it was a hoot belonging to the Wing Family of America!
