My maiden name is Heavirland and our family has been traced back to Stephen

(1795-1872) and Mary Haverland.  My lineage is:  Joyce Heavirland Schlim, Murray Heavirland, Asa Philetus Heavirland, Charles Edgar Heavirland, Philetus Haverland, Stephen Haverland.  Stephen's children were born in New York and over the years the generations of this family line moved west:  NY to Illinois/Wisconsin, Iowa, and South Dakota.

The surname Heavirland has been written with numerous spelling variations:  Havirland, Haverland, Heverland, Heaverland, and potentially Haviland. The website  www.haviland.org has additional variations including Heavirland.

The Wing Family Tree in Ancestry has a Roger Haviland II (1765-1854) who married Hannah Wing (1764 -1838).  Hannah's lineage is:  Hannah, Edward II, Edward, Daniel, Daniel, Rev. John. Hannah was born in Quaker Hill, Dutchess, NY and died in Glens Falls, Warren, NY.

Roger's father was Roger Haviland (1742-1801) and his mother was Elizabeth Hare.  Roger's father was born in Rye, NY and died in Haviland Hollow, Putnam, New York.  Roger was born in Haviland Hollow, died in Glens Falls, NY and is buried in the Quaker Cemetery in Queensbury, Warren, NY.  Roger's lineage is:   Roger II, Roger, Benjamin III, Benjamin II, Benjamin, William

I am searching for information about Stephen Haverland's (1795-1872) parents to understand how Stephen is related to the Roger Haviland family (and if so, then tothe Wing Family).
