The Wing Family of America Scholarship for Higher Learning

Overview

The Wing Family of America will be offering one - $1,000 scholarship for a student pursuing higher education. Eligible applicants must be blood or adopted descendants of John, Daniel, or Stephen Wing, who settled near present-day Sandwich, Massachusetts, around 1632.

Criteria

Applicants may use the scholarship for college, trade school, an associate’s program, master's, Ph.D., or another viable educational path. They must meet the qualifications for their chosen program and provide a detailed family tree for verification by the Wing Family Genealogist.

Deadline

Applications are due by 11:59 pm on May 1, 2025. Application must be submitted online via the form below or may be downloaded and submitted by emailing to president@wingfamily.org.

Winner Announcement

The winner of the Scholarship will be announced at the Annual Wing Family Reunion the evening of June 20, 2025.
