President's Letter August 2025

Hello my Family!

Oh, my goodness! So much fun and so many memories were made this year at the Annual Reunion in Gettysburg! I cannot brag about the location and reunion committee enough. They did a great job making sure that all of our needs – and preferences – were taken care of. Beth Fisher, Terry Wing and Cyndy Doherty made a great team and need a standing ovation!

Our first ever Auction had a very rocky start due to internet issues and my lack of technical skills, but it ended TERRIFICALLY! It was definitely a group effort, and I thank each and everyone who helped in little and great ways. There were items from almost every area, and Torri Grasela made some beautiful images in words from the poor pictures I sent to her! We successfully raised the $1,000 for our very first scholarship winner, Carter Taylor. I am ecstatic with the effort and the outcome. I can’t wait to see what next year holds.

I also want you all to know that I am truly humbled and delighted to represent you and Wing Family of America as your President. This past year has had some speed bumps and head shaking moments, but it has been a time of learning and growing and loving. I am proud to carry on the traditions that have been set before us. I have great excitement for the heritage that we continue to build for generations to come. 

This is a member organization for the members. I want to continue my focus on strengthening that statement. My goals are simple, yet so very complex, and I need y’alls help with seeing them through. 

More members, and members helping members.
