What is $974,638?

That was the market value of our Endowment Fund as of June 30, 2026.

Thanks to that fund, the WFA is able to draw off $45,000 this year to pay for our Curator and Program Manager as well as help with the maintenance of our museums and preservation of our items.

Understanding the Endowment Fund is simple: Whatever is donated to the fund (called “the corpus”) is held in that fund permanently.  However, the money generated from that donation can be used to fund maintenance of the museums, upkeep of collections, and employee expenses. 

The more we have in the corpus, the more money it will generate. 

No amount is too small.  If you would like to contribute to the endowment, you can go online to www.wingfamily.org.  Go to the “donate” page and fill out the form.  Be sure to put “Endowment Fund” in the comment box. If you would prefer to donate by check you can mail it to Wing Family of America, c/o Sharon Ahearn, 207 Sandhurst Drive, Laconia, NH 03246.
